WURLITZER
Wurlitzer built some of the world's finest cinema organs in the 1920's and 30's and were well placed to capture the emerging new jukebox technology. At the end of the war they produced probably the most famous design, Paul Fuller's Model 1015. In the 1950s they produced the simplest lift arm mechanisms and uncluttered cabinets. By the 60's the flat deck mechanism was so simple that with very little modification the mechanical design is still in use today, playing CDs and with the unreliable relays replaced with microprocessor technology.
